Donut Boyz is an artisan donut business striving to put the magic back into a childhood favorite. Forget the stale, processed donuts you’ve come to find on supermarket shelves: each Donut Boyz donut is handcrafted by world-class chefs using only the freshest quality ingredients. From the jam-filled classic all the way through to the modern cronut – our mission is to put passion, quality and creativity back on the menu.
Donut Boyz was established by Scott Hoskins and Tony Kelly in April 2015. After seeing how the Sunshine Coast community embraced their old-school burger joint, Hello Harry, the pair turned their attention to another product that had stood the test of time – one they believed deserved a more personalised touch. They decided to trial a pop-up stall selling homemade donuts and sold out in less than an hour each day. Within a few weeks they were regularly selling more than 1500 donuts in just a few hours.
Just two months later, the little pop-up store had expanded to include multiple locations, a state-of-the-art kitchen facility and a team of pastry chefs with experience in some of the world’s best restaurants. The Donut Boyz movement was born.
At Donut Boyz, we believe that biting in to a crisp, golden donut should remind you of the best parts of your childhood. We’re talking school tuckshops, fresh baked goods and homemade jam – a simpler time, before every sweet treat suddenly became highly processed and mass-produced.
